SSP Architects partnered with Brookdale Community College to complete a comprehensive Master Plan for both the Main Lincroft Campus and the Satellite Wall Campus, providing the College with a data-driven roadmap to guide facilities investment and long-term planning.

Working with StudioJAED, a specialist in facility assessments, SSP developed a detailed capital improvement and renewal plan. The team conducted physical surveys and assessments of building interiors, envelopes (including exterior walls, windows, doors, and roofs), barrier-free accessibility, and major building systems such as mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

SSP also reviewed the campus site, including parking lots, circulation, exterior improvements, and landscaping. The findings were compiled into a comprehensive report and database outlining quantities, priorities, and projected costs associated with renewal and improvement efforts over the next 10 years.

The second component focused on developing an educational master plan and strategic framework. In collaboration with DMZ Associates, SSP performed space utilization analyses, engaged faculty, staff, and students, and reviewed institutional data to better understand campus operations. The resulting report established a clear direction for the next decade, addressing anticipated enrollment changes, evolving curriculum needs, classroom modernization, and opportunities to optimize campus facilities and operations.
