The Roles:

SSP is looking to expand our talented team with people who aspire to excellence in all aspects of their work. Specifically, we are looking to fill several positions at various levels, ranging from architectural interns to project coordinators. Individuals in this position will be involved in all aspects of bringing projects to reality – from the initial design concepts through construction.

We are passionate and collaborative people who believe the strength and success of our firm comes from the quality of our team members. Therefore, candidates must have the following education and experience:

Project Coordinator –

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in commercial (non-residential) design and construction
  • Revit proficiency a must
  • Technical experience in all phases of design, documentation, detailing and construction
  • LEED Accreditation preferred
  • Understanding of the various phases of design, documentation, detailing and construction
  • Active pursuit of AXP and licensing is a plus

Architectural Intern / Designer –

  • College or technical school degree in architectural design, drafting, interior design or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience
  • Revit proficiency a must

Candidates for all positions shall possess the following qualities and knowledge –

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a must; Photoshop, Lumion, and SketchUp preferred
  • Strong design and visualization skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Desire to improve professionally on a daily basis
  • Ability to foster positive relationships between the design team, clients, consultants and contractors
  • This is an In-office position with flexibility to work remotely when needed after an initial evaluation period
