PRACTICE
SSP Architectural Group, a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), was incepted in 1891, and has remained in continuous practice for well over a century. Historically based in Somerville, New Jersey, the firm has made significant contributions to the civic architecture of central New Jersey.
Over the decades of its evolution, the practice has defined innovative strategies in the planning, design and delivery of public and private projects. Leadership in facility master planning, community school planning, sustainable design and design/build delivery of projects has influenced public policy and enhanced the built environment delivered to New Jersey’s communities.
Recently, the firm has gained the reputation of being the State’s leader in High Performance design, applying an integrated architecture/engineering approach to the creation of environmentally responsive and operationally efficient facilities.
