Position:	Licensed Architect
Location:	Somerville, New Jersey
Job Description:	SSP Architectural Group, located in Somerville, New Jersey, is seeking employment of a licensed architect with a minimum ten years of experience in the design and detailing of public facilities.
Experience Required:	The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the technical requirements of the job and an understanding of building detailing, as well as a working knowledge of AutoCAD. Tasks associated with this position include the management of the day-to-day aspects of a project, from schematic design through construction administration; including workload management for assigned production staff and consultants, as well as client contact and reporting.   Candidates will be primarily responsible for the development of the technical details and specifications for assigned projects, working within the parameters of each project’s scope, budget, and deadlines.   Candidates will have the ability to prioritize tasks within a project as well as among multiple concurrent projects.   Additionally, the ideal candidate will act in a mentorship capacity for other members of the technical staff, including unlicensed professionals.
